Chicagoan Francesca Vetrano first appeared on stage in Steve Starr's musical production "Vanities." She worked with Steve Starr and Shirley Hamilton, and studied with Dennis Zacheck, Tedd Liss and Rolf Brandeis. When she moved to Los Angeles in 1978, her experience with these Chicago teachers, enabled her to become a working observer and performer with the Actor's Studio. She performed in numerous plays in Los Angeles including the Actor's Studio production, "No One Is Us,"( Crazy Mary ) directed by Robert Viharo; "The RoseTattoo" (Pepinna) directed by Clyde Ventura at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, and "Filamena"(Seamstress) directed by David Galligan, at the Court Theater. Her credits include Films: "Grid Runner" (New Jersey Housewife) and "Scorned," (Cleaning Lady) both directed by Andrew Stevens. Television: "Missing Persons"(Grandmother) Stephen J. Cannell. Since her return to Chicago, she has appeared as the "Housekeeper" in The Piven Theater workshop and Cusack Production of "Punto" written by Dick Cusack, starring Byrne Piven and Matt De Caro. As well as the movie, "Just Visiting" (Nancy) with Christina Applegate and Jean Marie Poire. She is currently in the new set-com "Patsy's place." And, in a new movie from Dreamscape Cinema, "disposable."
